About Project AMARIX

Blue Ribbon Sports officially changed its name to NIKE Inc in 1978. In the same year they developed technology to change the world of personal training forever. After 33 years we have unearthed Project AMARIX...

Our concept looks at eliminating the need for a human Personal Trainer...

What if your Nike's could verbally give you the motivation and support you need to get through your training regime? Imagine if you could select 'Personal Trainer' as an option when customising your NikeiD's... Straight out of the box your Nike's will OWN you!!!

There's no more slacking, slowing up on that last mile, sneaking a couple of donuts when you think no one is looking. AMARIX is always there to get you through those moments of weakness. 'Your Personal Trainer will never be the same again!'

Project AMARIX is a HTML5 audio experiment designed and built by Sennep. Nike78 gave us the perfect opportunity to investigate this new technology, and pair it with a text to speech engine to truly challenge the function of a pair of Nike's.

Nike78

Nike78 is an exciting project created by Paul Jenkins... 78 designers and creatives internationally have been asked to challenge the function of a pair of Nike shoes. Nike have been chosen as the inspiration for this project due to their rich history of creative ventures and the brand’s constant aim to push the boundaries of sport, something which Nike78 will also seek to creatively challenge.
